What is In–Home Designs?

In–Home Designs is a comprehensive and personal design service offered by Interior Reflections. It is for those who live in the Calaveras, Tuolumne, Amador and Stanislaus county areas, as well as the Bay Area and Greater Sacramento region. This service is for whole house or whole room design which includes everything to make a room or home complete, consisting of: space planning, future selection, finish selection, a color palette, accessorizing and window treatments.

• Program Meeting:

1) Review your goals, objectives, budgets and expectations.

a) Focus on your style and functional requirements.

b) Review and collect any visual pictures conveying the look you are after.

   2) Determine and note those pieces that will be used in the design.

a) Written letter of agreement is signed, outlining the exact nature of the work
        to be performed, the budget involved, and compensation due.

• Measure and Photography:

1) Measurements will be taken from which floor layouts will be produced.

2) Photos are taken of the existing space and any particular furniture, area rug, art
        or other items to be used in the final design.

• Design Development

 1) Shopping and and research. You will be asked to begin looking for the furnishings
        that interest you. I will suggest where you can see, touch and feel certain items.
        Once you have found some pieces you like I will go with you to guide you through
        the decision–making.

• Presentation

1) Design concept, various materials, options and estimates will be presented to you.
       The design is honed as necessary.

2) This process will include concept development, designs, including floor layouts,
        color palette, window treatments, accessories, and fabric and furniture samples.

• Art and Accessories

1) The single most most important area of design to complete the project and make it
        your own. This step may not happen all at once, being that accessories and
        art are very personal.

• Production and Installation

  1) Your design is implemented, and the details are refined. Purchase arrangements
          are made for project elements including, furnishings, paint, fabric, window treatments
          and accessories. Installing your furnishings may take place in phases, or completed
          at one time.

  2) The single most important area of design to complete the project and make it your own.
          This step may not happen all at once, being that accessories and art
          are very personal.

• Closing Procedures

  1) Evaluate and review your new room.

  2) Take care of any unpaid services.

  3) Discuss what you see as your next phase for your home.
